Most vaccinations are available on the NHS at no cost to the patient. However, Hepatitis B, Rabies and Japanese encephalitis for travel purposes are private vaccines and are chargeable to the patient and not available at Brynhyfryd Medical Centre. Hepatitis B for occupational purposes is also chargeable, but this must be paid for by your employer and not yourself. Should you require one or more of these vaccines, please make an appointment with the practice nurse who will give you up-to-date travel advice and the costs involved.
